You can raise higher to avoid hands lke K6 participating or otherwise fold on the flop when they shoved all in. In freerolls all sorts of trash hands get played to 3bb raises, which are not respected.

Puzzlefish's post is bang on. Once you were faced with the all in on the flop you should have known you were behind to, at the very least, two pair. So, the only alternate line I see is a fold on the flop. Raising bigger pre-flop with your big stack wouldn't get much respect. I think maybe K 6 might have folded but I doubt 66 would have also mucked. They are thinking your big raise was a bully move with any two cards.

Pre-flop sizing is fine.

Hand is standard and just goes down as unlucky spot.

You will be ahead with AK here so often against KQ, KJ and K10s. You will also see 89 and some stubborn QQ and JJ shoves here ESPECIALLY in a freeroll.

You can't just assume someone flops a set and fold top pair/top kicker everytime someone shoves on you on this kind of flop. It will cost you in the long run.

I guess the question is do you need to hold on to TPTK in the hero's situation when so many players saw the flop? I get the idea of holding on in a 2 player pot but when so many calling stations got through, I think the assessment of being ahead so often is not really accurate.

No alternates lines really, you played it perfectly. Fold on the flop is out of question.

It is unlucky, no way you can fold with this board and the pot. All in in preflop is also good especially in freeroll tour to build big stack.

Any alternate line to take?

Considering that 7 out 9 players were short stacks (15BB and less) the obvious move would be to go all-in. You should expect the short stacks to go all-in with good hands so you would have to call them anyway. Though the small blind would've probably called you with 66 (and won) that's acceptable gamble given your premium holding.

It’s just a cooler. You played it well, folding AK not an option on that flop, also I think preflop raise is standart and good.
