Happened in the CC freeroll yesterday. I was at 2nd place at that time while the V was 3rd or 4th. I was really active at the table. Almost stealing with any hand cause the table was passive & super fishy. Played like 35/32 but my 3bet % was quite low around 4%.
13 players ITM while 23 left.
V was fairly active as well. around 23/17 ish. Has some limps. but not a terrible player

I dont think I could get away from this one, espesially with a loose image. He could of course have a set or two pair, but i think AA is god here most of the time. I would however shove his raise on the flop. He has put half is stack in already, and I am not going to fold. There is a lot of staight draws, straight draws/pair combos that make a lot of turns hard to play. With a shove on the flop he would have to pay for his draw if he is behind, and if he is ahead I am probably paying him of anyway.

My 2 cents

I agree with almost every word he said but these really stuck out. I think the only good options are shove or fold to his flop raise. I would shove almost always with your holdings, flatting is bad but I might do that and shove that specific turn because I make mistakes. At the very least for tilt control reasons it makes me feel better if I get my aces cracked if at least got them in ahead.

Probably worth noting if you are running over the table picking up pots non-showdown with marginal hands, that does free you up to make an AA fold there, but you gotta roll it up in a freeroll.

i think i would have reraised all in on that flop, he's got a very wide range to play as he's doing and that would shut him down...if he's got you beat at this point you'll still have outs to top two. if i've got aces and someone plays "any two" and beats me there's not much that can be done...except bet more initially, but you've already raised high enough he should have a good (for him) hand. i would have him on ace/jack at this point and i'd make him pay dearly for his loose play...or i might get knocked out, who knows lol

3bet shoving flop makes no sense to me cause we are folding out all his bluffs & somee Tx es as well.
Only draws we are afraid of here are 4combos of 98s which is not much. I doubt he'd flat 68s or 46s

I would call it, at this particular point you are losing only by 55,77,TT and the most likely is TT .I don't think anyone would call a 3bet with the rest combinations which can beat you on the flop.If he has it ok.That's poker.

The only second though I have here is that you have him on a decent amount of hands on your tracker and seems like he is playing fairly well.He can show also some overpairs at this super dry board.

Interesting spot. I have no idea what the correct play is. But with flopzilla you can calculate stuff like this.

How did the hand end?
