Deep in the $5.50 Bubble Rush, opened 77 from the HJ and 4Bet Jammed versus the SB 3Bet. I had 25bb to start the hand and could have possibly waited for a better spot. I contemplated flatting the 3Bet and hoping for a favourable flop, but I think that is the worst play of all 3 options. I also quickly thought about folding, but am too much of an aggro punter to fold there

Just wondering what other people would have done in that spot. Thanks.

Flatting here. Unless you have reads on him, villain doesn't really have any 3B bluffs to such a small size. I'd be much more inclined to 4B jam over a 12-14k 3bet than a 10.2k 3bet.

I think I would just call here. You would be second to act post flop to outplay him should the board let you.
An all-in means you get called with a coin flip at best and being dominated at worst. If he was 3-betting wide range of hands and you wanted to take the pot down pre-flop sure but I would not risk tournament life on a coin flip (best case scenario) when you have 25 BB still.

Yeah, that is true. It was definitely a punt when I look back on it. I think I've been making some major mental errors deep in tournaments where I dont take enough time to think things through and have been leaning on the aggressive side when I'm in these spots. In low stakes MTTs, I think the play here would be to see a flop and fold to most continuation bets on unfavourable boards - I dont think villain has many bluffs in this spot.

Smdh I think I've been watching too much of the Main Event! Where players are more capable of bluffing from SB and a jam with 77 would be acceptable - however, this is not the case in low stake MTTs.

Thanks for the input.

Hoping to be flipping and not drawing to 2 outs against an out of position three-bettor. That being said playing aggressively is a good thing... just in better spots!

I think I play it this way with TT plus since there would be some hands you are ahead of in range.

Better luck next time on those late flips!

Fold or call, just 4bet if he has some fold range in his 3bet, but I would particularly fold in this spot

You have too many chips to gamble with a medium pair. In the best case scenario you are flipping and V raised small so he is mostly really strong. You could've flat and continue if there are no A or K on the flop.
