If you have 5 minutes, here is a little video about how to play A-x :

Then, as the BB and just checking, he can pretty much have anything, including two spades (or even two clubs, but less likely). His way of betting looks to me like he was waiting for a flush draw and got it, but he could as easily have been bluffing. In my opinion, this is a good fold, but I'm curious about what others have to say about it.

Video on A-X

Thanks for the video. I also downloaded Flopzilla and am checking into how it works.

Flopzilla can really help to a beginners or players who don't know how to play some hands with A-x, I'm not saying that you're bad or something. But playing hands are way different than reading a guide how to play them. It really depends on your plays on the whole tournament and how people mark you.

I’ve been thinking about getting Flopzilla for ages but still haven’t gone through with it yet. Is it so essential d’you think? Danoscar, how you finding it? Ive got EV calculators, equilab etc. and don’t think I’ve gotten all I can out of those yet (and they were free).

Once I was playing live with the best possible hand on flop, on the turn and river opened the probability of a flush, and the villain was in instant allin, I had thinking for a long time, had no reviews of him, he knew I was aggressive but took the lead, I ended up folding, the villain showed that he had nothing and his only option was to grab the flush and try to fold me, since he had invested more than half of the pot in that hand.

I do not know what would be the best option, I've done it myself a few times, but for your stack I think I would have shoved in the flop.

Hi bro .
I am not an expert but I have learnt is when you have only 6 BB and in that position you had to push all your chips. However, you win or lost is the best move due to small stack .
Don't be afraid to push all in , tournaments are pure adrenaline some times you have to take a chance to reach the Final Table.

You start this hand with 6.5 BB, action folds around to you on the Button and you look down at A6 off. Any AceX, any KingX, most QueenX are clear all in shoves here.

If it is any consolation I think he had it . He couldn't check to you because you might check with the possible flush on board . He was probably trying to make it look like a bluff , betting 140K into your 21K you had left . I think it was a good fold .Better luck next time .

Betting 1BB on the flop makes a call with any flush or straight draw, or any pair you make, an easy call. I wouldn't shove on the flop but a bet of at least 3BB makes more sense. Then you don't get to a situation where you have to fold on the river.

Shove pre-flop. With ~8 BB and A6o from BU, we should be shoving. Will make life simpler.
