Ok! Guys is the Poker Open SKill League, blinds are 250/500
1232 left from 10000.
hero has - 17.995 (34BB)
villain in the MP1 has 11983 (24BB)

Hero bet 1000, all table go fold until MP1, the MP1 re-raise 4150, all table go fold until the hero.
Hero go all in, villain call.

HERO - A(clubs)K(spades)
VILLAIn - J(clubs)J(diamonds)

FLOP: 4(diamonds) K(clubs) Q(diamonds)
TURN: 2(diamonds)
RIVER: 3(diamonds)

So i made the top pair. but the villain go flush!

Well guys, i had the infomartion: the vilain play 50% of hands, and he 30% times go 3-bet in pre-flop, and fold one re-raise.

Well, i play wrong? Where did i play wrong? or just bad beat?

How you guys play?

You finished in top 1400 so you got points thats the biggest thing in PSO so i think your call is good cuz you needed double up for getting in the top

Fold and sit out immediately.......

You don't have to play when you reached over 18k stacks. because if you sit out and wait until blinded out, you would get more points(over 40~50) without taking a lot of risk

P.S by the way, how could you get so many stack on this stage? I really wonder this xD

In Poker open skill league you can never be wrong with pushing AK preflop all-in ;)

No, When you shove on first stage, many opponents calls and you'll mostly bust out early stage,
You'll mostly lose 30~40 points :D

In this situation AK lost, but you did all right, maybe you must go pre-flop all-in ,but it's very personal question, depends on your style and opponents. Another good option fold AK... , 'cause he re-raised you, well i think agressive players always got advantage... Fold good 'cause AK not too strong go all-in from UTG - but it's only my opinion

Ak is most of time overrated cards, I want allways see flop before action with Ak. Only if i m short stacked , i push all in.

the idea of this tournament is to get a 100 whenever you can AK is not a hand to go allin have to play very soft long as the amount of points you get in that position is anything purchased with higher positions

Thank you guys for the posts.

After 1 week, i see that I play wrong this hand, going all in in this sittuation of tournament, and because i have some much chips. I should fold and preservate my stack, for playing others hands with no all in pre flop.

It is easy to overrate AK, but given your stack I think I would of folded to move up the ladder. If it was a situation where you needed to get into a flip situation because you were about to be blinded out, then certainly, go for it. But, no need to risk that much on an unmade hand with your stack.

Given that these tournaments every day several times to play the hand is worth all the same

I like that thought too, because Ace King is an excellent hand for a semi-bluff, you could have made a 4-bet and have tried to take his hand against smaller peers. Now playing AK with this amount of chips is a dispedício unless you know q your opponent is trying to steal or you have a short stack.

The situation is a toss up. No regrets at all since from the beginning, its a flip one.

Open skill league, rank is important. If you want to jump up, have to gamble those equal situations.
