Villian - stats V23/P18 based off 44 hands, but in most recent hands I observe a gear change around the bubble and seems to be in more hands.

Preflop and flop comments:confused:

800/1600 Ante 200 NL - Holdem - 8 players

MP: 77,211
MP+1: 31,360
CO: 113,658
BTN: 37,125
Hero (SB): 25,281
BB: 52,621
UTG: 11,135
UTG+1: 16,294

8 players post ante of 200, Hero posts SB 800, BB posts BB 1,600

Pre Flop: (pot: 4,000) Hero has Q K

fold, fold, MP raises to 3,200, fold, fold, fold, Hero calls 2,400, fold

Flop: (9,600, 2 players) A 2 K
Hero checks, MP bets 3,200, fold

MP wins 9,600

Preflop KQo with less than 20 big blinds falls into the 3bet jam or fold category.

You rarely can call profitably on the SB because you are OOP, you can't realize how good your hand is in a lot of flops and you also have BB to act behind.

I prefer a 3bet shove since villain is active and we can get a lot of weak Ax folds by shoving.

The flop is a difficult decision, because if we decide to call we mostly have to fold on aggression on the turn or river.

Villain should be betting with most of their hands, even medium pairs, QJ, KJ, KT.

In my opinion flop is a call and deciding what to do on the other streets.

You should 100% call the flop cbet. He's going to be cbetting an ace high board at such a high frequency and you have too strong of hand to fold.

As the poster above said, going all in pre flop would be the best play with 15.5 bbs.

I think there is no option to call in shallow stacks oop, only AA and less frequently KK possible.U cant play hand KQs calling so profitably as pushing in such size.

I agree with everyone else, you shouldn't be flat calling KQo from the small blind in this spot with 15.8bb. If villain is loose, its an easy shove, if villain is tight, its an easy fold. Against an unknown player it's tough, but since the raise came from MP, villain's range might be wide enough to include plenty of steals that will fold to a shove.
