Hi everyone,

I won the hand, but that doesn't mean the play was sound.

In particular, was it a mistake to check the turn? On river I feel they are bluffing and KJ is only hand in his range that beats me.

I think you played it fine. BB is going to have some 9x's in its calling range. Checking to pot control is fine. Betting would also be fine as you can get value from draws. It's one of those spots where it's good to mix.

Hello, for me on this stack from the MP position it was a little too loose open raise with hand like QJo. On the flop you played bet for about 1/3 of the pot. On paired board sometimes you can get check raise from your opponent, because I'm not sure if your bet isn't too small. Sometimes opponents when see bet like this for 1/3 of the pot, they like playing check raise for example with some small pocket pair, because they think that you have for example two over cards and the can think that they have the best hand. But ok, opponent played check call the flop, everything looks safely. On the turn I prefer bet, because I want to have initiative and I don't want to give him free card. Your top pair looks good on this board. As played the river - bet for less than 50% of the pot from opponent seems like weakness and I think you have to call this bet with top pair and good kicker. I think that check on the turn isn't a big mistake, but you lose initiative in this situation and on the river you can have harder decision when opponent will bet.
