You raised then called a 3-Bet. To villain your range does not contain AA, KK, QQ or AK very often. So what does he think your raise and 3-Bet calling range would be? How about JJ-66, AQs-A8s, KQs, QJs, JTs, T9s, 98s, 87s, AQo-ATo, KQo. The board is total rainbow so he's not worried about straights or flushes. He would probably call a bigger bet on the river. His check on the turn gives you license to try to steal on the river which means he'll call with any made hand. Maybe bet 20BB on river?

Yeah rabman50. I think I agree.

I guess I was going with a bigger bet but was afraid he might consider a fold w/ KK. Was hoping for a reshove at that point. I honestly think hes folding middle pair with a 50% bet alot of the time.

All in all though, I think betting more on the river would've been better.

I think you play it by a manual. If he had a J it would be a total different story.

The only way to get more value is to reraise on the flop and then to make small raises with a hope that the dude will follow up.

I'm just thinking hes so strong here. never putting him on Q10...but I guess his range is pretty wide.

Preflop flat is debatable, I'm certainly raising the flop since it doesn't make sense for us to have many value hands when we raise flop. River sizing is fine.
