Dont know how to get betonline HHs but I took a picture. 100/200 - I loose opened KTs UTG with 2xbb open (400) and got called in 2 spots. Flop 678r

My plan here is to check/raise the flop or lead on the turn. I check as does MP and LP bets 1/2 pot. This was the scenario I wanted as I figured any one pair hands will bet A6-8 K8 and possibly some draws might bet here. but

if they flop a straight I have outs
if they have one pair, I have overs since its more likely Ax then Kx since I block Kx.
I could have FE here and if I could fold out a 2nd or 3rd pair here would be great.

Also I probably would of just called a 1/3 pot but once it goes 1/2, nothing is going to be cheap after that

Is the thinking here sound or is this just a nonsense spew

the math isn't in your favor. You really need a 9 and a blank on the river. I'd save my stack for a better situation.

calling is better imo, because x/r is too expensive w/ only gutshot at this point

its ok if theres 2 spades on that flop

thanks all, been getting myself in some tight jams with nonsense like this LOL

FWIW - It was a WIN/LOSE, I did fold out the LP raiser only after the MP decided to not even isolate me and just flatted my shove (that is scary)

MP = 88 LP = Fold UTG (ME)= Out

Why not cbet 1/3rd pot on the flop?
LP is chiplead and could easily bluff 1/2pot.

I would just lead for a little less than half pot here.

As played I would just call and check/fold turn unimproved.

If there were two spades I would be looking to get it in on this flop.

I would check call on this flop with the gutshot and backdoor flush. The pre-flop caller should have a range advantage on this board. If the turn is a spade I would be looking to XR the turn if the villain was aggressive, if passive I would lead on a spade, A or K.
