$60 NLHE HU Tourney Rebuy: KQ suited fold

blind 200 400 I was small blind and called big blind raised to 1200 button called and the flop came kd6d9d I checked to the raiser and the button bet 1300 so I folded. The bb caled and flop came 3d they both checked the river was a 2 or something. Bb showed jj and button showed k7. Did I make the right play

with raise from BB and button calling, you should have folded. once the flop was down, definite fold.

Why would you fold a good hand pre flop since the buttons range is pretty wide? I don't understand.

For me the play is raising pre flop 2/2.5BB and then if there's a 3 bet, a fold.
bu with this play fold after flop bet.

Please correct me if you feel my play is wrong.

Anyway op's post is not that clear. This is definitely not a HU tourney.

And what were the stacks? And how were the players playing? And the stage of the tourney?
