I have a live hand that I played in a $550 buy-in freezeout tournament. Is this an overfold? I think BB is most likely to have a four and doesn't have a lot of bluffs when x/r into 2 other opponents. I think diamond draw bluffs might play differently on the paired board. I could still have a four myself (A4 suited). Should I call considering I don't have a diamond? The villain in BB is very good reg - but not overly loose or aggressive. My concern with folding is that my hand is very face up (very likely Kx) and can be easily played against.

Hello Nathan,

I think it is a good fold here. This is definitely going to the point where very good reg is going to commit the rest of their chips and probably turn up the winning hand.

Good luck to you,
Brian

Personally this is very close. I put villain on Ak or KQ trying to flat. If he’s a good reg this is ideal spot bluff on turn. I also wouldn’t be surprised if he had 88.

If I think villain has 4s or is on a flush draw I’m calling. ( I know I know, that sounds counterintuitive) but no A4s from blinds is terrible for good regs range. I think what’s more ideal is kq or KJ as well. Rarely has 4 or any 4 suited— I think. In position I call here, by the tip of my tongue
