What should i have done in this situation ?

Well when you shoved I think you knew there is a possibility of losing, right? I think it's pretty standard hand, you just got unlucky. I may have called to see flop and action in some cases depending on stage and structure.

How close are we to the money?

Assuming there are no unusual bubble considerations, I think you played it perfectly.

There is only one hand that you are unhappy to face here, AA. It's possible that someone was dealt AA on the same hand that you got KK, but unlikely. I only think about folding KK against a super-nitty deep-stacked nit that 4bets me.

Bad result, but the play is fine.

It was the middle phase of the tournament. I could not just call because that would imply almost 50% of my stack. Do you think it was a good move besides the result? By the way, villains were maniac lol.

Yeah, it was totally normal shove, I told you that you just got unlucky. You could lose even with aces, that's just the way things are.
But idk, 20bb stack is not that bad for me depending on some factors.
Anyways, better luck next time :)

Never folding KK here. I fold JJ/AK for sure and QQ is pretty close.
