V seems like a very careful player. Played a couple of pots early with him holding good hands mostly. Both are placed 3rd & 4th when this hand happened.
It seems like the very top of his 3bet range.

What's the play here? Should I just call & see a turn? Or try to raise & GII?

If I were you I would 3bet get in in, in this kind of board.
The board is heavy draw and you are OOP.
There are to many bad turn that kills the action from both sides.
The only problem with 3betting is that villain will fold his TT/QQ hands, but if you flat he is gonna check back this hands.
So you should 3b and try to play for stacks against his AK,Kx, AA type of hands, and he is gonna stack off lighter because of the bounty.

one mistake I see in every one of your 3bet posts :D
It's not a 3bet if I were to raise the flop. It'd be a 2bet.
V bets, I 2bet.
PF it changes cause there's a starting bet

Are you trying to confuse me with the terminology to beat me in the game? [emoji23]
I've never heard about a 2bet, re raise yes but not 2b.
Gotta go and study about this 2b.

If you check the hud stats under the flop, the first thing is call 2bet.Basically pre flop there's originally a 1bet(Big blind), so when a player open raises pre flop he 2bets. When another player reraises, he 3bets.
But post flop, there's no tarting bet. So when the first bet is the 1bet. If someone raises, it's a 2bet. And if someone re-raises it's a 3bet.

Were you an active player at this table? because you were chip leading it by far.Is there a probability he made that 3bet in the BTN [most safe 3bet position] in order to stop your pre flop aggression?

In general I agree with your statement that this smells like top of his 3bet range[ he only beats you with KK here on the flop] but at first sight I would check raise his cbet around 18-20bbs.

Villain's stats are not nitty enough to even consider laying down the 2nd nuts here. Board is wet enough that IMHO you have to x/r here. I'd size it up to make it easier to GII on the turn, like 25BB.

This hand should go for c/r since we should play some draws aggressively as well.
