PKO on 888 with quite a fast structure. Final 2 tables.
For some reason I like the line I took in this hand, but maybe I just like aggro plays and this hand didnt make too much sense and I cant rep the ace on the turn? As always, thanks for your replies :)

With two over cards I'm only rarely not firing the flop c bet (and perhaps delay c betting instead on those occasions just to mix it up), but having done so and not improved I might check the turn depending on the turn card.... and on that board my instinct is to check the turn, any Ax hand now has the nuts against you here.

A pretty crude analysis, but if we give villain a 50% range defending his BB here to that min raise, and weigh that against your hole cards, and assume he calls any c bet, you're behind 32% to 68% by the turn to his range. Even if he folded a few hands out on the flop I'd expect you are still behind, as a lot of hands call that c bet. Can probably reduce that range due to hands he would have shoved, but like I said, crude analysis.

Anyway that said, if you want to rep an Ace then put the short stack all in on the turn? You increase your fold equity by doing so and give him a tougher decision to make.

Great cbet spot, but id choose a smaller sizing: 1.3bb at largest.

Turn: Great bluff spot, i like betting here, only need to bet around 40% pot tho.

I agree with Protential here. Definitely like the line, but we can go a bit smaller for sure. The board just doesn't connect very much with unpaired holdings, so as the PFR we have a substantial range advantage on this board.

And even though on the turn the villain will sometimes have Ax, we should have way more combos. NH overall.

I think you can play more aggressive, if your style is AGG,you can bet bigger size to rep you got A in your hands,1/2 pot size too small.
