I'm just flatting here pre (due to villain's stack size).. as I won't like calling off to a 4-bet shove.

note- your terminology is incorrect when describing the action in this hand... if you were to raise overtop of villain's opening raise... this would be called a '3-bet' (not a '4-bet'). If villain then puts in another bet (ie. 'shove') < that would be a 4-bet.

flat and try to play small ball unless u pick up a sick 2 pair ,fd,OEFD on flop.

but pre i like flatting here.esp due to villains stack size. Like he might be forced to jam TT and then you dont even get to see a flop cause u might have to fold. I probably would in this spot.

Just like others said - flat pre-flop. Your stack is healthy enough to see flop and fold if you completely miss, like in this case. Also, flatting could open you some bluff opportunities on turn if villain was holding like middle pocket pair and didn't cbet.

I don't advocate your play with this hand? You could easily either raise to about 1600 but then fold to a 4 bet or call their raise and just play a small check/call bluff caching pot. 3 betting 50 blinds pre will only get called by better hands and all worse hands will fold therefore for each time you get called by better you need 17 times of worse hands to fold out for you to be in profit

yep, best to flat this type of hand since it dominates a ton of his opening range from the button.. you really want to be 3betting only the best or garbage hands vs this type of player, anything in between will almost always be played for more profit by just flatting.

it's only ~25bb effective
