Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 50/33/6

You can see V's stats are aggressive but it is a small sample with 20 hands.

We call with Q7s in the BB. Not too controversial. This would be the bottom of my defending range.

I check full range here.

V bets and we decide to slow play. I want to have some nuttish hands in my check call range.

Player HERO checks
Player VILLAIN bets (800)
Player HERO calls (800)

The turn gets interesting.

*** TURN ***: [7h 7d 2s] [5s]
Player HERO checks
Player VILLAIN bets (2400)

V bets a pot committing amount when we turn a flush draw with our trips. Do you raise here or call?

against tighter, more sane players it could be better to raise all in, because they are more likely to bet with made hands on turn, and most of that hands would check on the river. If he has 99, he would call you here, but on the river might come some overcards which will make him fold if you bet, and if you don't bet, he will check anyway. Against this opponent though, I would check-call and check river to give him a chance to spew.

He had left 3520 and the pot had 5600 with the 2.4k bet, so problably the 2 possible plays have +EV, but IMO, in these spots, you need to read the villain, if he is a loose aggressive players, I guess the call turn and check river would give him the chance to make he bluffs, if you think he might fold if you shove here, the call is better than raise, but if you think that he will call right away, shove it right away and if you are loosing, you had some bad bad luck

I changed computers. apologies for the delay in the response.

I called bc of V's aggressive stats (6.0 aggression factor is hard to be balanced with V's raising range) and since I pretty much have this board locked up.

Once I call I am checking all rivers to let V blast off.

Player HERO calls (2400)
*** RIVER ***: [7h 7d 2s 5s] [Js]

Now we have the flush. Yeah.

I checked and V jammed. Exactly what I wanted. I called.

Oops.

Player HERO checks
Player VILLAIN allin (3520)
Player HERO calls (3520)
