you are getting 40%, right? i mean that's the ballpark so my choice would revolve around what part of the tournament you're in but most likely fold since a small pair is a coin flip, a bigger ace dominates you and a medium pair will only give you 60% chance iirc.

in most circumstances i'm not risking my tournament pre with A9.

Fold. The chances you are behind are too high and SB can still re-raise all-in. There is no point to shove with A9o preflop.

Fold, you have a weak ace. He is correct in shoving with 15BB left. You can call and try to take him out but I'm waiting on better cards hopefully. You're also almost in shove mode.
