Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 18/11/4

I've got two tight players in the blinds.

Stats above are for BB. SB is an 18/5.

The BB has a 7% 3b and 13% 3b from the BB.

It folds to me on the BTN w A9o.

Do you open rip here or raise to call off or fold?

I cover the BB but SB has me covered.

Here's the HM2 hand info.

2.1x/call off vs one shove. A2-A7 and 22-77 I'd open jam here.

If you think you are getting shoved on too much just rip it.
If you think you can take the blinds than steal and evaluate the ranges if one of them shoves.
Depending on the blinds sometimes i will just rip it and sometimes i would raise/call or raise/fold if the blinds are super tight.
A9s i am raise/calling 85% of the time.
Personally i think with 19BB you still have 1-2 steals left and anything good below 15BB i am shoving on the BTN.

This doesn't make any sense, if we are getting shoved on too much, that's even less reason to open shove in this spot as a lot more worse hands will shove over our range that otherwise would fold to an open shove. The less players like to fold, the lower our bluffing frequency should be and the wider our value range should be. Why open shove and fold out A4o when we can raise and get jammed on by A4o?

I raised 2.2x and got shoved on by the BB.

A9o is the bottom of my calling range here....but it is in the calling range.

Any views?

Player wloa raises (6600)
Player Salty.Dawg folds
Player vittorhugoooo allin (47080)

3b from the BB is 7%. 13% from the BB position.

They'are tight?

Ignore your cards and play more by bluff stealling theirs blinds with raises close to 2x, they are perfects, when they raise, fold because they offers to you easier spots, A9 of course you shoud raise, by value.

You should know before you open raise pre what you're going to do if you get jammed on. In this case, you were raising with the intention to call if one of the blinds reshoved, nh.

I've got two tight players in the blinds.

Raise/Fold:
Raise to steal, Fold to a shove. Both for the same reason. Because they're tight, they're less inclined to defend light, but when you get shoved on, there's hardly hands that you're ahead of and the hands you're ahead of, you're just a marginal favorite.

Had you open-shoved instead, maybe villain folds here? Trent?

Likely yes. However, if we open shove, villain is also going to fold A2-A6 and possibly A7-A8, along with hands like KTs, QJ, KJ, and possibly JTs that villain is likely to reshove over a raise with.
