didn't know if it was good idea to bet for value on riv so went the check calling route.

I'm betting larger on the flop. (I'd consider XRAI 'if' the other guy was an aggresive player who you figure is going to stab at it if it's checked to them but here the guy seems passive).... maybe 300

As played, I'm not value betting the river as I don't think it's likely I'm getting called by worse & I'm not going to want to call if they raise me.

Why'd you check the turn?

If you're going to bet the flop, you should certainly be betting that turn. Why give up when you hit?
Also... terribly small flop bet. You're giving everyone like 6:1.

Bet turn, check river.

Bet larger on the flop, I like going 1/2-2/3 pot here.

Turn is an easy barrel as we picked up top pair and are very likely ahead here.

River check is fine, there are very few worse hands calling us on this river.
