what is your thinking with min 3betting preflop? what does that actually accomplish?

Just flat call preflop....

as played you can't really do anything but fold, if you had just flat called and lead the flop you would have saved some 100-150 chips.

Fwiw i would likely just flat call preflop and check/fold the flop or if i felt he would c-bet with a wide range i would just lead the flop for around 1/3 pot and be done with the hand after that.

look 3 betting small like this can work against particular opponants and especially when blinds are huge compared to stack sizes it can be an extremely effective weapon to counter say loose raising preflop players.

however you need to be targeting specific players for this to work. it tends to work vs multitabling regs who understand stack sizes and knowing they can't really flat call.

Another thing, 77 plays really bad in 3bet pots, in reality you are way better off 3betting hands like 76s or even stuff like K6s as these have better potential postflop as 3betting here with 77 is never really for value it's almost always a semi-bluff. So working out what hands are better raised, what hands are better called and working out what to do with parts of your range is really important.
