fold, fold, fold, MP+1 calls 1 BB, fold, fold, Hero raises to 2.9 BB, BB calls 1.9 BB, MP+1 raises to 8.84 BB and is all-in,

The original plan was to call off the MP shove and was hoping for a shove. When BB calls that put a problem in the hand especially his stack size. When MP shoves now. I can FOLD - or 3bet to 22bb to leverage BB stack preflop. BB doesnt have to have a stong hand so I can potentially fold him to a leveraging 3bet, I just dont know if this is a good play. 3bet to 20bb/Fold or just fold.

I dont like flatting here so I think I should fold or 3bet/fold

Just fold, your 3-bet size will just commit you to the pot.If you're going to 3-bet and the amount of that 3-bet equals more than a 3rd of your stack, you should be pushing.

Just be more creative in this spot.. it's no limit for a reason :D don't just raise for 2.9x or what was that.. If you want the mp You could raise to exactly what he had, 9.6x or something

raising to half his stack 5x or so, forces a pot commitment and tells you where you are with the big blind.

Thanks all, with these options I think folding be the best just cause of the size of the BB stack to mine. The ideas I saw I dont like, dont want to 3bet shove over 40bb with 3bb invested, Dont want to make my original raise to 9xbb, and for some reason if the BB comes along, that is a horrible spot for me. and me like the poster above, i dunno if it wise to 3bet 1/2 my stack to see how strong the BB is.

I thought this was an interesting spot when going over some HHs

FWIW - In game I called!!!! and brought along the BB and just like a perfect plan, I flop top pair and he flops the nuts I proceed to lose all the chips. As I saw the game over screen, it dawned on me that this hand got messed up preflop and I just compounded the problem

Unless you know BB to be able to flat and trap with big hands, 4 bet all in to isolate him as your hand plays better heads up than it does three way. If BB had a big hand he would have raised you the first time around
