HH Parx $230 buyin Saturday, 30 min blind levels, 10K guarantee, 20K starting stack; I am a female rec player.

~40K eff Blinds 1K/2K/400 ante, I have about 50K
I raise from utg 4200 with AJdd, UTG+2 calls, CO calls, button calls and bb calls.
Pot now 25,600
Flop 874 rainbow, one diamond. All check
Turn 2d, I check, UTG2 bets 17500, cutoff calls, button folds, bb folds, I call.
River 3club.
I check, UTG2 goes all in for 17K, cutoff folds, I fold.
How should I have played the hand?
My image was tight aggressive (I think)

The only potential issue I see here is the pre-flop raise amount. With antes, a ~2BB raise gives players good pot odds to call.

My default raise amount in live tournaments UTG with antes is 3.5BB. But I only play live tournaments a few times a year, so I'd be interested in feedback from other CC members on this.

Firstly i agree with Alex, increase your raise size sightly just to reduce the amount of callers, the flop check seems fine, unless you want to rep JJ+, which you definitely could, as long as you think you can get your opponents off an 8 with another bet on the turn, make sure you don't always check your bad hands and bet your good hands or you become readable.

On the turn you pick up some equity and everything but pocket deuces misses, i like a delayed C bet here or potentially a check raise. When you call you're just hoping to hit and although you're happy when any A, J or diamond comes, you could easily be up against 9 10, which beats you if a J comes, or A8, A7 which beats you if an A comes, so your basically hoping for a diamond which is about 20% of the deck, and you are not getting the pot odds on the call, therefore I think you have to either check raise or fold when he bets here.

Personally, i think he may have flopped a straight here, it seems odd to check the flop and then bet large on the turn when there are some draws, seems like he was overly confident on the flop and was happy to trap and then looked to protect on the turn.

preflop is fine the raise , otf is ok check but turn when u made a f draw + 2 over i dont like to call utg +2 bet and fold the river if i dont hit. You have 15 posible outs but if u oponent have a straight or a set u have only 9 outs and 4:1 pot odds . But wat i dont like is if dont hit u remain with a 20k~ and a M of 4~ . Is either shove or fold as played. But i like a scenario of a leading bet for 7-8.5 k on the turn and with the intention to fold to a shove.

pre flop i like your raise
i think you should fold the turn.its an -ev situation there to call
maybe you had to c-bet bluff the flop there...
