Should I have played this any different? Villain bet small earlier in the tournament chasing a draw so I was thinking he was doing something similar with this hand.

UTG: 63.37 BB (VPIP: 58.82, PFR: 5.88, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 17)
UTG+1: 58 BB (VPIP: 29.41, PFR: 5.88, 3Bet Preflop: 20.00, Hands: 17)
MP: 40.87 BB (VPIP: 13.79, PFR: 2.04, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 58)
CO: 99.75 BB (VPIP: 73.33, PFR: 6.67, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 15)

Why is the pre-flop raise so big? Your hand is not strong enough for you to want to build a big pot against two opponents, and given their VPIPs, your opponents don't like to fold very often.

Yes you should have played this hand different.
For a start fold pre flop.
This kind of hand doesn't play very well post flop even if you are in position and the aggressor.
Anyway, on the flop you should probably call or at least re raise a smaller amount and not blow up the pot with this kind of hand.
On the turn just flat there and evaluate the river. Now you are be beaten by a ton of better hands and you don't beat much, so technically you are turning your hand into a bluff.
So fold pre and save yourself some money :)

I think A8 is ok to raise with here in an unraised pot with position against two players who have shown they are calling with wide ranges. Hero is probably ahead of both opponent's ranges. As I said above, no reason to make the raise so big. But I don't hate a fold either - it's marginal.

Raising the tiny bet on the flop is fine too, but there is no reason to raise that much.

As played, after the call on the flop, you need to decide whether you are willing to stake your tournament life on the idea that your opponent won't beat your top pair medium kicker. I'd just call the tiny bet, even though I know it may be a draw.
