Hi guys,

I was wondering if this semi-bluff is a reasonable play to make in this position. I do realize that i'm behind on the turn (I had put him on AK or KQ), but I wonder if I get enough Kx, Jx and pocketpairs to fold. (sets are obviously never folding)

I would fold preflop with 7 players behind to act, I don't think he's betting flop and turn with a jack and he's never folding any king on this board and there aren't many bluffs he could have there.

I don't like this play, you flat those hands that deep in LP and sometimes from the blinds[or 3bet them] .You have so many shovable stacks behind you yet to act. His open from UTG indicates some strenght and you block nothing on the flop.

He's only got 40K behind. He has to call 40 into a pot that is already 85k? He needs about 25% equity to call, and even if he figures you might have him beat, he hardly bet half his stack just to fold with top pair. If you both had 200k behind and you werejamming for 2.5x the pot, then its maybe a different story, but with stack sizes the way they are and with how hard he's trying to get his stack in the middle, hes never folding.
