Difficult decision...
UTG is short so he waiting for big hand. with JJ againgt him You have probably have coin flip or be dominated by bigger pairs. He raise pre a lot so he might have lower pairs too (but remember that is UTG... so AK od TT+ is more probably that lower pairs).
He play very loose so maybe he push with some weak hand, but from UTG? I don't think so.

I would probably do the same as You but I think fold is ok.

You have to make some considerations: are JJ good enough for me to call an UTG raise allin when I am in middle position with a lot of players acting after me? How good do JJ play in a multi-way pot? The two big stacks of the table are still to act and 16bb aren’t enough to scare them if they at least have a pocket pair or maybe some high cards such a AQ/A10s/AK/KQs (you are holding two Js so you at least don’t have to worry so much for AJ /QJ/KJ).
Then, if you get another caller on the way ( 3 players and a pot of 44.96 BB) it becomes juicier for the blinds to call since they are getting 3:1 pot odds.

For me the difficult but right decision is to FOLD.

You're hovering over the short stack range.

UTG could be jamming with a lot pairs here that JJ beats, or AQ, AK hands and we don't mind taking a flip with JJ with only 16 BBs.

Not fearing anyone waking up with a bigger pair behind us. If they do, oh well. Hopefully they have something worth calling with so we have a chance at a triple up. Either way, definitely not folding this hand with only 16 BBs.

Easy jam.

Folding here would be atrocious, guys. UTG is running rather loose stats and is pushing at least a default UTG 11bb range of 22+ AT+ KQ+.

Personally I think our calling range vs this opponent should be 88+ AQ+ and maybe AJ but it's close. JJ here is a shove without question.

This is super super standard spot. The UTG shove be wide enough that JJ should be decently ahead of his range. And based on his stats, he's not a nit waiting for AA to get his money in.

As trent right above me stated, AQ/99 are automatic here, AJs/88/77 might be possible but I would also take into consideration with these hands, if I reshove, how likely is anyone else to jump in with less than a premium.

But for the way you played with JJ, nice hand.

I think you played it fine. Reshove for isolation, the fact that you got called by BB and ran into a better hand is just a cooler.

You can't fold there, easy reshove.

Yeah I agree folding is very bad, when UTG is has 11bb and open shoves he can he shoving wider then our range easily and somtimes he turns up with overs which we are flipping with. When we have 16bb theres really nothing you can do here, are you really considering folding and hope to get QQ+ with our almost short stack.

With UTG having these stats too I'll be surprised if he shows up with us dominated.
UTG: 11.22 BB (VPIP: 28.57, PFR: 20.59, 3Bet Preflop: 13.89, Hands: 70)

Gotta win these flips to win the MTT just how it is.
