Do you call the check raise on this turn? My thoughts are if he had a king, he might just call to induce a third bluff on the river. clearly he thinks I'm bluffing on the flop, and I dont blame him for thinking that, but when he check raises here, it looks like he is doing it as a semibluff, that he picked up some equity, like a flush draw and wants to take down the pot incase his equity isnt realized on the river.

when the second King came on the river, I was almost positive my QQ was good, but I checked back the river because even if my queens are good, he only calls a river bet with Kx, which he does sometiems have, but i think not very often, and he gives up on all his busted flush draws and i dont get paid anyway. Playing the hand the same way. Villain almost never has Kx in this spot, because like you said, why would he re-raise when he can call and allow you to triple barrel all of your air hands which you will have plenty of.

Do you like the check on the river? We dont get value from anything here right?

Easy river check. Villain's turn x/r is polarized, meaning he either has a missed draw or made a full house on this river. It's a way ahead/way behind situation so there is no room for value. There's also something to be gained from seeing what villain has here and we gain that info by checking.

Agreed, thanks, just wanted to check my thought process on the check incase there is some reason to bet that i hadn't thought about.

I check that turn more often not there. Worked out well for you though in this case. He has a ton of chips to apply pressure if he jammed the river you call?
