Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 63/28.3/10

Got this situation during the last fase of a Spin & Go.
I must say that, even though the AF is high, the villain was not extremely aggressive. The only thing is that he never calls post flop.
Maybe more interesting with these kind of players is AG%, which is 30% on the flop and 50% on the turn.

Question is, was this a good fold?
I hear often that second pair in these low stake spin and go's is enough, especially against aggressive players, but my problem with it is that even if he is bluffing and does not have the J, there is a big chance that he has to overcards to my pair of sixes.
Counting with that, plus the chance that he might have the J anyway gives me to less equity, I think.

calling all day. i mean what does he really have here? his range is polarized for sure, but is he a good enough player to polarize his range properly? if not this just looks like a semi bluff. if he is not a good player then he probably bets big with weak hands and smaller with his value hands

I don't think he would ever play like that if he had jack. This might be some sort of semi bluff or two pair.

Not sure if he would bluff with such a high bet. I think he's got a J and wants to clear the table. So IMO it's a nice fold.

I also would have the feeling that big bets are bluff (which is typical for a bad player), but I have seen even more people at these low buy-in spins, that do the opposite, and overbet their value hands, even going all in while the pot is just 2BB (which is an even worse player).

yeah i agree to some extent. I overbet value hands especially with this stack to pot ratio. but i never take this line on this board. what hands does he have that donk bets the flop with that sizing?

usually if im overbetting, its because im fairly sure my opponent has a hand he likes thats worse than mine that he's going to call me with

But in that case I don't see it as a bad play.
I do the same in those cases.
What I'm talking about is players that overbet with a top pair on a dry board.
I had to find out the hard way that this happens quite often.

About the lines they follow, I don't get them a lot of times at these stakes. But I guess that works in their advantage.

yeah, you run into it sometimes, but this is going to be a bluff more often than not IMO
