In general I flat Axs in early stages in position with a single open raiser.
Just wondering, was it loose by me to flat after a big 3bet by unknown villain?
Feel free to comment the whole hand! :)

Flatting the EP raise was fine but calling the 3-bet was wrong.
As for the hand and the way it played out, you got lucky.

I don't see a problem flatting the initial raise. The 3bet is way to big. He is bluffing just to steal or has a monster. Not knowing much about the villain in this case I would probably of folded.

Good news is you hit the flop perfect and I think the play from there forward was fine.

Flat pre is fine, calling a 3bet after the BB 3bets is suicidal. You aren't deep enough to flat here and are dominated close to 100% of the time.

Check flop. Against the BB's 3betting range you are either an 80%+ favorite or a 20% underdog. Unless you have a solid read that BB never checks overpairs here and will pay off multiple streets with A high, this flop plays better as a check back as you don't need a lot of protection against hands you're ahead of in a 3bet pot.

Turn shove is fine.
