It's just so classical. I know in my bones Stars is doing yet another setup hand. How come this always happens late in a tourney?

I should have folded pre..... Because It keeps happening!

I know the preflop raise was small. Don't think he would fold anything to a slightly higher bet thou.

Gross spot. Your opponent is repping a flush or complete air and possibly KsJx as I think he raises KJ no spade on the flop.

Personally I go larger (3.5k-4k) on the turn and sighfold the river.

In the 2nd hand you posted, just shove pre (and shove your entire range as well). I struggle to see what you accomplish by opening 3x off 10bbs here.

The flop is very dangerous. After the call on the flop you must be aware that he has or is waiting for a flush/streight. I would slow play it with the minimum raise on the flop. If he is willing to set a trap, he will play as he did with your 3BB raise. So he will call on flop and reraise you on the turn. This is cheap way to see the river, where your fold is correct. On the second hand you play it correct. Can't do nothing against KK. Strange why he played that way pre-flop.

Would have 3bet jammed turn here it is blind on blind. Only the nuts is ahead of you I don't see any small flush or straight just calling that flop. My guess is he has k spade and possibly a pair like K10 or KQ.

Second hand should have just stick it in preflop. No getting away from it you go broke there always as does everyone.

Be patient with AQ it is one of those get you in trouble hands but you have to play it.

As always thanks for the input. Basically I should either just push it @flop and or preflop. I just get so nitty near the ft and I'd hate to be flipping wich I almost always do. And by flipping I mean loosing 9/10 times lol.

It's like you said , you should have raised more preflop for the first hand , 3.5x cause this guy has double your stack , 2x is nothing for him plus he has position . On the flop bet more , not only 43% , like you do , 80% because there is flush and straight draws out there . On the turn , bet all in to take him out of the hand/double your stack , let's hope he doesn't have any decent hand .:)

i think you should have raised at least 3bb or even a shove wouldnt be a bad choice in this spot. you only have 25 bb left, so with a strong hand like aq, going all in can be a good option. also your flop and turn bet was very weak. with these board with 3 spades and with lot of probability that villain has a spade or the king or jack ( if villain has kj then you still have 4 outs to win) i would just shove after the flop to avoid giving villain the odds to improve his hand. after the river you fold your hand well because villain could be having the king that beat your two pairs.

Well as for now I'm certain some players can predict what the community cards will be with their outrageous calls preflop.
