WOW - what a pot you both built here. Hope he had A8 or 88 or this guy is insane.

Not much you can do about that there if he had AA. Miracle flop. Played out exactly as u want it. Dont let that bad beat discourage you.

Seems like you played the hand just fine. Neither of you were likely to fold there. Maybe a c-bet on the flop would have shaken him off but maybe not.

What other hands are you 3x from UTG and checking the flop with? Are you checking AA here? What about KK? JT suited with a backdoor flush draw?

I prefer a small lead on this flop when you are this deep to build a pot with the essential nuts. Check raising the flop, or in this case the turn, turns your hand face up.

Being this deep, calling ranges behind you include a lot of 98 suited, 87 suited type hands. Build a pot against these hands that you absolutely crush.

Not sure how I feel about the river betting. I would probably not have shoved the river, but click raised to 70-80 BB. In theory the only hands that would call this river all in would be A8, 88, Q8, and AA. 84 is highly unlikely to be in this hand, and 44, while also unlikely, is more reasonable than 84. You block Q8, so the only hand that you have a value shove range against is A8, 1/3of the possible calling combinations. When you click back 3 bet the river, smaller boats call and quads or AA jam, so you can 3 bet fold
