Thank U 4 posting

When you raise pre you are hoping for folds. Does 2bb get that done?

JJ7 no ace folds no pair folds so why bet?

On the turn we now bet enough to fold all under pairs and ace highs, why?
Mostly strong hands call the turn so why bet so large?

If our V has a J why are they checking the river?
You have put in half your stack why would V not shove river?

If it is because V has a pair less than a Q why are you not shoving?

V gets 3-1 to call with 1010 or less when you could be bluffing

Hope this helps

I think this is just a fold pre spot. We don't have to be raising or getting invloved in every button spot. You don't want to see a flop with this hand and opponents have got wise a long time ago to button opens being 70% of your range depending on what type of player you are. They would need to have total bottom of card strength here to fold and with a min raise on top of that they are rarely ever folding. You probably need to go 3x here to get any fold equity and I don't advise that with your stack depth. I like just folding here and moving on.

As played, I don't see any value of betting on the flop for the same reason as above. Opponents know you are on junk and a paired board really limits your chance of having hit anything. This should be a check behind because I think with a J here you would check behind a decent amount of the time. Betting here actually makes your range look weaker than checking would.

On the turn once they have called your flop you need probably just be looking to get to showdown as cheaply as possible as one of the blinds could have a jack or a bigger than you have a Qx bigger than yours which was the case. They could also have a made flush so it would be better to take the showdown value that you have and use it as that instead of continuing to barrel.

fold pre. you're short stacked and you don't want to be opening with hands that you don't intend to getting in pre with or with hands that have very low chances of hitting flops well.

as played: check flop, check/call turn. check/check river.
