I folded the sf on the turn. In the end both of them had very crap hands. What is the most profitable action I should take on a scenario like this on the long run?
I feel like I should've raised or shoved on the flop. I'd not play well if I just called like happened to me because I'd have to call the turn as well. But it was so early stage in the tournament and I felt it wasn't worth the risk.
Soon after that there was a power cut and I was left with 100 chips when I logged back in lol!

I didn't feel like raising after too many limpers preflop because I would not perform well against a 3bet or a shove and it's likely most of the limpers would call anyway considering the blinds are small

I don't think I have a huge problem with any of this. I definitely would have considered a raise pre-flop, but if you thought you were going to get 3-bet a fair chunk of the time, I can see a call. Plus, you're in position with a huge speculative hand in a multi-way high SPR pot - so, I think the call is fine too.

The one big issue I have with your line is the call on the flop. I think you have a ton of semi-bluff equity and FE to boot. It is an un-raised pot and if you thought you were likely to get 3-bet pre-flop, maybe there are some maniac’s in the hand. So, I’m not saying I never flat call, but I think a flat there is pretty blah; I don’t like it. In fact, I think I would prefer a fold to a flat call.

Obviously, it sucks when you bink the SF and already folded, but, yeah…it happens. This largely depends on your table, your image, an everything else, but I really see a lot of merit to raise flop – jam turn. You only have 50BB’s, raise flop to something like 12-16BB’s. If called, there is 40-55BB’s in the middle and you’d have 30BB’s behind; there are only a minority of hands that will continue and you have equity against all of them except something like AXdd.

So, yeah, IMO – raise flop jam turn is the most profitable.

IMO, the most profitable on the long run is raise/call pre flop, and play agressively all streets, you have the best chances with the SFD, even not hitting your hand, you should play just like you would play trips on this spots, at least thats the way I would do it

Call turn, if u hit on the river jam!Jaming on turn is gambling and maybe the end of your tournament even if you have high chances to win.If you would have called on the turn and missed on the river u still would have a 30bb stack left to play.
