Thank you for posting

By checking we give a free card to an Ace. So yes bet your over pair on the flop hoping to get value from A2 A5 JJ AQ etc
We only want to check sets most of the time and then only if we have top set. We still bet top set on very coordinated boards

Hope this helps

I would have more preflop. I don't want to against four other players. I would also bet on the flop. Why give four players a chance to draw for a bigger hand?

Thank you for your post. I don't recommend playing your Kings this slow in a five way pot. It worked this time so congrats on the W. In my opinion I would open at least 3.5x the BB from utg. After the flop I would c bet at least %75 0f the pot with my over pair for value as well as protection from the others in this pot. Slow playing against so many opponents is going to end in disappointing fashion more often than not. Be aggressive and win more bb before showdown with high pocket pairs such as AA & KK. If you c-bet the flop and multiple opponents call then don't let off the gas as they are mostly playing top pair or drawing hands. Use the cards on the board to make your own interpretation of your opponents goal or money cards. If those money cards show on the river or even the turn I recommend playing extremely cautious. Good Luck

Good Luck To All:cool:

Table dynamics should dictate how much you are opening for here. At face value I have no problem with the little over min bet as I do it myself a lot. However, if you have players behind you that you know call a lot then you can easily go as high as 4x here and get callers. That will make it easier for you to get more in the pot post flop if that is what you choose to do.

On the flop you must bet here as you dont want to give any opponents a free card where they could nail a set or get an ace. You can bet here (again depends on how sticky the opponents are) anywhere from 35% to 70% pot. From there you can just play it as the cards come (usually recommend barreling but depending on runout you would be playing for 2 or 3 streets of value) as the only thing we have going against us is we are out of position.

I would not play a check on the flop - I had to increase the bank

I would never check that flop, in micro stakes it's always positive to put money in the pot as soon as you can (if you got a hand like this)

This is a suuuuper dry board. I would cbet this board all day everyday for value. Probably bet turns as well vs one opponent, if there are 2 or more left I would likely check turn - then on the river I am bombing it. If we got called on 2 streets previously we are almost always getting called by Qx and surely getting called by every 5x out there. No need to get tricky on the flop and allow the weaker hands to peel a free card - just bet for value and try to get paid when you have a hand this strong.
