Too me I think I played it good. You can say I shouldn't have played this hand pre flop but everyone plays a hand when they shouldn't every once in a while. I feel it's a bad suckout, should I maybe have raised him on the flop or?

ya you just got coolered. unlucky but it is what it is. they played those 3s big pre flop and hammered their set on the turn. you had them on the flop and turn. the only way you were getting that pot was it they folded before the river but the I woudnt think they would fold with 11 outs to make quads or a boat. plus they had 3 times more chips than you. well played just unlucky.

You have to play sometime with blinds and antes escalating. Villain trying to bully you out of the pot. You played well and agree with other 2 posts got unlucky with River.

Yeah definitely a cooler... But I think you could have saved yourself a lot of chips by finding a fold on the river when he dramatically changes his bet sizing at the same time that the board texture dramatically changes too

Fold pre. We have 15bb, the only hands we should be flatting here are QQ+ if there are rejam stacks behind who are capable of squeezing playable hands. A7s is going to play terribly vs an EP open range and we still have reverse-implied odds if an ace flops. If the opener is super LAG then you can shove here.

Postflop, I'm playing the same way as you did, however I'm probably just jamming the turn. We have a very low SPR and our opponent is showing a lot of aggression. Very unlikely he folds if you shove the turn and we don't want to lose value if another diamond rivers. You can never fold this river given pot odds + your opponent can shove Qx, worse flushes, overpairs and few bluffs.

I don`t play here fold. Here you have only M7 stack and A7s is 15% range. When turbo or hyper I play here 3bet push. When in this is slow blinds I play just like you.

pocket pairs the most difficult to predict. Very often I lose when your opponent has a pocket pair , and it falls on the flop for a set

Unlucky hand, probably the reason you called pre because of the villain tendencies, overall well played.

Fold preflop.

1) If my stack is deep enough, I don't typically call an EP raise from middle position with that hand. I would call with it if still heads up from the CO or button, or in the BB with the discount.

2) Your stack is way too short to flat with this hand from any position. You should really be in shove or fold mode by now with a stack this short. And A7s is not really strong enough to shove over an EP raise.

As for post flop once you are in the hand, there's nothing you could have done. You can't fold a hand this strong, even with a paired board, with a stack this short.

You played it good, just a cooler. This hand reminds me of a hand from wsop 2012 One Drop where Trickett rivered quad threes against Rast's nut flush.
