I don't think you need to be raising all-in with 88 at 25bb, just call here.

IMO you make the correct play there.
Reshoving 77 with 25BB stack is reasonable. Its a bounty tournament and opponents will call very wide. My only problem is that this is villains first open and his range could be tight, so its close. I don't like flating there, shove or fold would be my play and I like more shoving.

I would shove or fold. 25bbs is right on the borderline for me with 88.

No info on villain really over 10 hands so that isn't a factor.

I personally would jam it and look to build my stack. We are flipping against most of his range. Folding is fine too but I think flatting here bleeds your stack when you want to keep your fold equity up for when you jam. If you flat and someone jams behind you what now? I don't like putting my chips out there to just fold.

I would probably fold this. UTG+1 looks pretty strong as they usually don’t raise with garbage this late in a tournament. Also you already have one caller and a lot of players to act after you.

I like to open mid pocket pairs and if anything I would flat and try to set mine. You can easily fold if you don’t flop one and still have a good stack to push/fold.

Play for set value and very complicated. But the range of Utg + 1 is usually restricted, because it is a unknown, OK shove. It makes him fold some interesting hands.

Generally speaking, a raise from early position comes with the increased likeliness that they are holding strength in the hand, because all the people after them have yet to act. Now you have 23 BB. He has 54BB. He raises 2.1. I would suggest a flat call. See a flop and see how he bets it. You have too many Blinds to worry about getting it all in on a marginal pocket pair because at best you will be looking at two overcards if you get a caller. Especially later in the tourament. At that point you want to choose your pots wisely
