I don't want to pollute the pool with my thoughts on this hand just yet. Any feedback will be appreciated.

Preflop all you know is that you have a mediocre hand and rest of the hand you will play out of position also if you just called you don't have initiative.

I think both calling and raising pre is good here, maybe even raising is better since you will have initiative and you know, also you know he has 25 VP, so he opens pretty wide.

I don't know what you wanna achieve by the turn bet, it's too less to get him out of a hand and you don't have any value. On the riven though, what do you expect to call you with? Because any T beats, any pocket pair higher than 33, it's hard to get a call from a worse hand on this board, maybe he would have called with some Ax but still checking and hoping he checks back is better here, if he bets small I would call, if he like bets for a pot I'd probably fold.

3B or fold pre. Readless I lean towards fold. Flatting weak suited Ax from the SB at this stack depth is going to have you in some bad spots, while Ax suited are good 3B bluff candidates playing 26bb eff.

I check turn and bet 3bb otr.

3 Betting pre is fine as a semi bluff depending on opponent tendencies. Calling is bad. Folding is also fine. As played what are you trying to accomplish with the turn bet? Or the river bet? Trying to get called by AK?

The river is definitely fold, there will always be a better hand...
I often lost to a pocket pair in such situations... such as 77-44...
