This type of hands tilt me, I don't know. Am I playing that bad or what? Everyone is calling me ALWAYS and connect any thing.

What you think happened?

I think you have to fold river, there are not many sensible bluffs you beat as you block A flush.

Turn donk bet is very strong here - I would expect two pairs, and occasionally sets

I'm noticing two things. First, your preflop raise was really small. Like, really really small. It's not a surprise that you got multiple callers so your pocket aces lose a lot of value. With aces or any other big pocket pairs you need to bet large to go to the flop heads up. This gives you a great chance to win the pot, but multiple callers means your chances of winning decrease by a lot. Second, on the turn you had to think about the straight possibility and what hands could beat you at that point. You can't get so attached to your hand, even aces. Those bets had to worry you at least a little bit.

Yeah, before blinds get high and antes are added in you want to go 3-4x on your pre-flop raise. Once blinds get higher and antes introduced you can go 2x pretty comfortably.

As for this hand I think everything is fine until the river. At this level overbets on the river are usually the nuts. I think we can just fold and save our chips for a spot where we are more dominant. I know AA is hard to let go but once you get to the river you only have one pair.

1) Raise size to small. Raise to a size that you think will be good enough for you to be 1 on 1 with the BB. That's your goal with strong pocket pairs, to be against only the big blind.

2)If it is a multiway pot like this situation. I'm fine that you take a stab at the pot on the flop but if somebody calls or plays back at you then turn down the heat and play cautiously. After all you do have showdown value. There are two things that will happen with pocket AA's:
A) You'll win a small pot and
B) You'll lose a big pot.

3) DON'T get married to aces. If the action is to hot and heavy and the pot is swelling then seriously think about folding. Chances are your gonna look at your opponent showing sets, straights or flushes.

Also one other thing I just noticed is that the BB has a super high agg percentage. I may have limped here with AA's in hopes that the BB does raise it up and then I re pop it to about 3x his bet and put pressure on him to fold his hand.
