We need to know how many bb you have, what happened pre flop and what happened post flop.

The end result does not give us anything to work with.

If you were a SS then I say GII and if the board gave your opponent a straight say nh and forget about it, you would of played it great.

I agree totally with the lady above me!

We need more details how the hand developed, what were initial stacks and actions preflop/ postflop.

Just for general purposes, I realized during my practice that the AQ hand is better to use in a way to kick of your opponents as soon as possible. That means not to pursuing value, but just to show strength when possible. In your case, he will probably not fold preflop with his A9 - but having such flop - you have a great atmosphere to press him into the corner with one solid bet :D

Of course, the flop could appear in your favor, and then you shall looking for value bets, but with such brick flop cards - aggression is the key :top:
