The hand is question is from a friend of mine, he's the one with AKs on UTG, all stats and the hand are on this link: https://www.jivaro.com/profile/MichelMMello/posts/5980c7f77788d4ce132b878b/

My argument is that his call on the BTN's 3-bet was not good, mainly because there were 2 more to act, probably going to call and making he lose his equity.

He says that he had odds to call and that if he missed the flop he'd still have 30 BBs, a good amount to continue playing.

For me, after the 3-bet he should've put all-in, but I'm still starting my studies and would like some insight from more experienced players.

What are your thoughts?

yeah, clear shove. Anything that folds is good for you, plus hero is OOP and AK is not great in multi-way pots.

4bet shove, when you call here, you are giving the odds that the 87s needed, besides, the AK is dominating most of the 8% 3bet villain range, and I hardly doubt that the 87 would call a 3bet shove like this, but I already seen players do it in the BB 0,55

agree, all-in. This is low buy-in tournament and there is a lot of weak players. With AK in this phase You must to risk all yur stack. Your shove after 3 bet should isolate him.
