You're already pot committed with your bet size preflop, we have right pot odds to call. You need make only a preflop min-raise 2bb and then fold on this shove.

protecting our stack at this point becomes more important than gaining chips. So it means we should be taking a lot of smaller pots preflop without resistance, but trying to steer clear of big all ins a little more often than normal, since we are the clear big stack and gaining more chips at this point they will start to lose value.

So this would be part of my min-raise fold range here, since the tables 3bet % in general is pretty much non-existant over only a small sample.

I did manage to cash in this and against same villain I lost HU my A8o to their A4o they rivered an 4

I will have to remember the min-raise fold over the 3x when at this stage and with my stack size

risk/reward is terrible for a shove, and our hand plays like trash anytime we get called. really horrible to jam it preflop here imo when we can make profitable plays that only make us risk at most 1k chips.

Never raise 3x at this effective stack depth post ante. I would probably minraise ATC in this spot on the bubble. As played, you are committed to call the shove.
