should we call here?

I would not call after two players show interest after this flop (a bet and a shove) as well as an all-in small blind.

There is probably an argument for pushing all-in on the flop (instead of checking) with your stack size:

If you can get the other 2 players to fold you would win the side-pot and have to beat a random hand for the main pot. You also have equity when one of the other players does call (this is a better play with no flush draw on board).

I also want to mention, you probably should have made a move before getting down to 7BBs, if you were card dead that is one thing, but you are likely missing shove spots that will help you stay ahead of the blinds.

Finding spots to re-shove when you are approaching 20BBs and spots to open-shove when you are approaching 10 BBs is very important. Familiarize yourself with push/fold charts and work on identifying loose openers and re-shoving when ahead of their range (if they open 20% of hands when it folds to them, you can profitably re-shove 20-25BBs fairly wide).

Hope this helps and good luck at the tables! :D

Jam flop.

I'm crazy enough to jam preflop here, especially if we're near the bubble.

This is a math problem. With an OESD you have eight outs. Here you have 6 clean outs and 2 possible outs if the remaining player(s) do not have a flush draw. Hitting one pair will clearly not help you here.

Your odds of hitting your straight is about 32% (24% if there is a flush draw). You have to call about 6 BBs to win 12 BBs. (We cannot factor in possible money added by the BB as he is yet to act.) therefore you need 33% equity to break even. The best you are getting is 32% equity. When your equity is lower than your pot odds - fold.

Those are good for push/fold decisions for sure, but there are other resources out there that will help in specific situations. Sure going to a chart and having it tell you which cards are profitable to open-shove is great, but there are websites that can take into account stack sizes of people behind you and differences in payout structures and give you a more accurate pushing range.

Also a program like PokerStove can give you a good approximation of what the range actually looks like for someone opening say 25% of hands, when it folds to them. This can help you to decide if a three-bet or three-bet-shove is profitable in this situation.

These are more out-of-game processes, but you will start to learn how to adjust your ranges with big stacks and small stacks behind you, as well as top-heavy payouts etc. There is a lot of stuff going on that most people do not ever think about.

Good luck to you! :D
