Why are you calling a raise preflop with 3, 4 suited? These kind of situations will happen if you do.

Is it really that wrong for Mike to go all-in on a low but heavy drawing board?

You know he's highly aggressive post flop - I'm not going against him after a raise unless I have a decent pre-flop hand to get paid off with.

Shame on the suckout though.

Tough break, 3 4 suited getting beat by a pair of Kings.

You guys are being silly. If you play 34s, you're obviously not going to go any further unless you flop a really big draw or two pair or trips or better. The difference is that your opponents at this level are going to go all the way with just one pair ALL the freaking time. At these limits, if you know what you're doing, playing 34s here is easily +EV in the long run.

Tough break, 3 4 suited getting beat by a pair of Kings.

I didn't realize having a single pair before the flop gives you divine right to win the hand no matter what.

Where's his mistake? He played KK perfectly didn't he? He was bigger favourite pre-flop than Joose was post-flop.

You play small suited connectors in position so that your opponent can make large post-flop mistakes. You never expect to be ahead pre-flop with 43s but you're knowingly making a $0.75 mistake for the chance to get your opponent to make a post-flop mistake for his whole stack. Problem with calling in this hand is that your target only has $8 on the table so you're probably not getting the right odds to call. Obviously you got a good flop so push away - you're only behind pocket Nines, 44 and 33 being very unlikely.

haha so that justifies his runner-suckout?

Problem with calling in this hand is that your target only has $8 on the table

i dont go below 10x the preflop raiser's stack to raise ratio when calling hoping to stack like that.

Personally, I like the play. The problem with small 2 pair though is that it's easy to get one cancelled if a pair hits the board. then you're left with basically one small pair since the other pair is common.

I still pot the flop here but with that flop any pig pair is likley to call.
