lol, aren't plays like that pretty much the definition of being a donkey? the preflop calls were rediculious, post flop they both had pairs and inside straight draws and (i'm guessing) money to burn, not that that excuses it. what's that expression about a fool and his money? perhaps it was your birthday.

 Why those two players called with those awful starting hands is beyond me? I wouldn't onvest that much into them. I could probably see MP1 going all in since he hit a pai and a flush draw. MP1 called because he hit top pair (in his mind, anyway). MP2 checked the rest of the way hoping for a straight. I probably would have bet on the turn. Great rake!

Wow! That just about makes up for all those suck-outs you seem to get so often.

Unless you have a SOLID read that MP1 raises with crappy hands, I really don´t like such a massive re-raise preflop. It worked out for you this time, but generally I would just call here out of position...

Nice result though...

Gotta disagree with your advice Chi, as usual. XD played this one spot on. I would have been a little nervous with 2 callers but the bet was not disproportionate to the pot or the stacks.

Well yeah they were pretty much calling stations preflop and generally I play jacks pretty similarly tbh. Got scared when they BOTH called the flop that's why I put on the brakes after that. I win a lot more than I lose Dogs I just like to post the offbrand hands to help others and myself.

i really didnt get why they called your preflop raise, maybe because A: they already invested money and didnt want to give it up. B: they might get lucky...anyway, after the flop the both needed a 7 for the straight and your pot size bet probably looked a bit fishy...especially for that kind of flop. in their shoes..they probably thought you were trying to buy (and didnt hit anything) and their pair was good + backed with the straight possibilty.

....of course you said they were calling stations..so, no surprise i guess.
