I knew they were loose but this hand was just insane

There had been raising pre-flop with A3, J2 basically they were dealt cards - they played them.

Well, maybe you expect that from a limp/caller preflop.

But Ian, with your stack I'd push the flop. You're OOP but you won't have enough to put pressure on on the turn.

The all-in call was good. It was the previous streets that were bad.

When you pushed, he had straight + flush draw. Any 6, ten, or spade gives him the win.He was 35% to win and its an easy call for 14$

Yep, reraise preflop, and push the flop. There will be too many scarecards on the flop the majority of the time for you to try and rope-a-dope him.

Agree with above ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^. odds are correct for the call on the river.

That said he had no business at all being in this pot or calling the flop. Just one of those players that never folds soooooted cards PF. I really can't understand what he's hoping for calling the $5 flop bet. Even if he's getting 4 to 1 on it all he has is a backdoor straight and flush, and 1 overcard.
