Reraise those ladies preflop!!!
make it $2 or $2.50 after that .60 raise - you want to sweeten the pot, and isolate.
Postflop, considering you smooth-called preflop, was fine. Nothing you could do - you can't put him on 7s. Though reraising PF would all but make that a %100 assumption.

Punish those Texas Dolly wannabes and reraise with any top 10 hand PF :)

we can go over it again and again man. in a cash game it is mathmatically correct to make strong plays with good hands. sorry you get out drawn on. but the odds say it is the right thing to do, so for the rest of your life if you play that same hand that same way you will make money.

Keep telling me that poettic. I am here to learn and get better, post my opinions right or wrong and try and contribute.

It's hard when I play hands like this and just get hammered to look at the big picture.

Hey man,

Yeah, I'd re-raise pre-flop with the Q's.

The post flop bet is good, but once he calls that big bet and the turn comes another club and co-ordinated, I'm check-folding. It's difficult to lay down a nice over-pair but I've been busted in situations like this many times before.

He did get very lucky and obviously Q's will take 6-7 in the long run.

totally feel your pain man. I'm the same way in allot of cases, and Heinesight being 20/20, it is easier for me to take a look at your hand and critque. i am overly aggressive in cash games because i know odds and that if you play the right hands with the right pot odds and throw in some occasional implied odds and you will make money over the long run.

that said you gotta play in your comfort zone. if you don't feal safe making the big plays then don't, i wouldn't want you to. if you feel you make money your way then play your game. '

Def. raise up to more than 60c preflop. I'd figure anyone with an A would have called that...either way...it was a horrible flop.
