This hand was not the first hand I played at the table, but the first hand I was dealt when I started!

The only thing I can come up with, becasue I thought my post flop play was perfect, and please tell me if it wasn't otherwise I'll never learn, should I have either:
a) re-raised on the flop?
b) not even played the hand?
c) something else?

Stacks:

* spikeyz619 with $5.25
* BTN with $1.98
* SB with $4.92
* BB with $1.83
* UTG with $5.00
* UTG+1 with $1.70
* MP1 with $2.32
* MP2 with $2.62
* MP3 with $0.82

Hide the results in the future.

Being new to the table, it may be nitty but, I probably fold here. AQ can be trouble on an Ace high flop in if someone has AK or Ax and makes two pair. Now If I have solid reads on players it is different, but you can just let this go preflop.

You flop bet was fine but maybe could have been bigger...The problem though is you got three callers. So now you are behind two pairs and sets, which with that many players seeing the flop is very likely. Check the turn and call a shove I guess, as by checking I think you induce enough bluffs to make it profitable. I wouldn't hate a fold to a turn shove either.

Make it .25 or .30 preflop and go from there. When you 3bet so small into that many likely callers you give these small pocket pairs good implied odds to set mine.

UTG limps, MP1 raises, the button 3 bets and you decide to cold call oop ? This is a clear fold.

The flop dosnt change much, we can range our opponents hands to A-x, sets and discount most other pairs because they don't call on the flop. As played I bet fold the flop and check fold the turn.

Really the only hands we hope to beat here are AJ,A10 type hands, and we are crushed by the rest.

Sorry I misread the action, I thought you were the one who 3bet to 10 cents. Once I finally see the action correctly (thanks to TBs post) I agree with tenbob and Steveg and fold this preflop. Holding AQ OOP against a 3better is just not where we're going to make $$.

Sorry I misread the action,
LOL! Easy to do with that horrible, horrible hand converter.

Ditto. It's easy for someone to be "correct" when they already know the results.

As far as the hand goes, I agree with "fold PF". Too many mice in the kitchen without having good position or a good read on them.

Yea this is a very easy fold preflop. Pretty easily dominated hand and you are oop in a multiway pot, ie. it is just a disaster waiting to happen.

Thank you everybody. I must admit between my options of re-raising and folding, after the hand was played out I do beleive I should have folded. first hand and oop were a massive disadvantage for me. Will know not to play it again like that in the future.

Thanks all

YEp u have to wait with that many in the hand. Aq is too scary vs 4 people. three raise to u u probably drop aq off suit.
