He's just a donk, there's no other way. Good play against a bad player, and it resulted in a suckout :(

Just the fact he's UTG+1 and pays the BB to start playing right away tells you a lot about how bright he is. I know its only $0.10 but still, what's wrong in principle remains so whether its $100 or a penny.

TBH though, his odds are good to go here thanks to the fact this pot is multiway and TYTJ kept calling your bets juicing it up with his K2 sooooted, which is friggin amazing. So to answer your question there is nothing you can really do based on how this hand went. You tried your best and it didn't work, luck failed you like often happens.

Dude I can't wait you build your BR and you get out of that hell of $10MAX because you kind of remind me of myself, you have trouble digesting it, I can tell by your comment on the table. I think I told you before it takes a strong stomach for $10MAX, a lot of people can do it, I can't and you look like me.

I don't know what your BR situation is and I'm not trying to be nosey, I don't want you to tell me. There is though another solution which is to try sitngos if you feel like doing them. You can stick with the lower buy-ins. Try giving it at least a shot, following the guidelines in the articles section here as far as BR management for sitngos. Maybe you have more success with them and you might be able to build faster than $10MAX. It's just a suggestion, I'm not sure you like tournies though because I notice most of your posts are ring games, so maybe you prefer cash games or you feel you have a better edge in those.

Whichever way you go just be patient, because on the bright side when you get to $25MAX things are much better, at least I found an enormous difference between the 2. So keep trying, somehow it'll happen, it's just a matter of time.

Yep, the best you can do is make notes, and let him try the same thing against you again and again. He's obviously not a good, player, so try to note his specific weakness that you can exploit, and look for opportunities.

TB had a thread about calling with a suited gapper, specifically because he had someone he had targeted that he wanted to stack. If you get someone like this that has exploitable weaknesses, I'd be willing to get in pots against him with hands that can flop big to try to take advantage.

At the same time, try not to pay him off again if he hits his backdoor flush/gutshot straight and you're still betting.

I don't see why you would even want him to get away from his hand when you can get him all in on the turn. He had a maximum of 8 outs, and im sure other players folded some of them.
