I agree with the other guys.
I like to look at what I could have done better, and if my play was not poor I would have been happy even if he had caught.
U basically gave him the odds
to chase his flush and he probably guessed u had an ace at least.
So, I know it sounds harsh, but it was your own fault!!!
Learn from it.
By the way, I`m not saying if you had pushed more into the pot he would have folded, but as bubbas said, that is being results orientated. Putting in a bigger raise was the correct move with a flush draw showing.
Finally, why did you push on the river? As soon as I saw his cards and the flop I knew the outcome. You are probably like I was a while ago. If I was delt AA in the pocket no matter what the flop showed I was convinced I `should` have won the pot.
The strength of your hand changed after every community cards and therefore u need to re-evalulate every time a new card falls.
