1. Make a real cbet. 1/3 of pot is just asking to be raised.

2. fold turn. There are no draws on board, so semi bluffs are not in villain's range, i.e. only pure bluffs and hands to crush you. Unless villain is a uber spew-monkey, you're beat here.

I agree with Belgo. Your flop bet is too weak.

Also, when villain raises you at that point, your flat call compounds the error. Fold it, you asked the question and got your answer. Why continue ?

If your going to raise preflop out of the blinds in this hand you should make it larger. This will get rid of some of the riff raff, because if utg calls then the rest of the table will probably call. I would probably make it .35c here. As played I would cbet more on the flop. The board isn't really all that drawwy so I think a little over half the pot should be good, something like .35 , .40 .

I'm not going to second guess your plays leading up to the decision you had to make on the turn. In my opinion, your decision has to be does the bet signify a bluff or a strong hand? Factors weighing in favor of a bluff: (1) your actions on the flop appear weak (a small continuation bet and calling a minimum raise) (2) The board does connect very to hands people typically limp-call pre-flop (3) The all-in bet for more than the amount of the pot appears to be trying to discourage a call. Factors weighing in favor of a strong hand: (1) a minimum check-raise would indicate someone who wanted to get more chips in the pot (2) the minimum check raise followed by all in bet doesn't make sense and for me if my opponents play is inconsistent I'm worried about a trap. The only additional factor that I would consider is my read on my opponent whether this play indicates a bluff or a strong hand for him. All things considered I would fold.

Your flop bet was too weak, and I think a 3/4 size c-bet would have been better then a 1/3 size of a bet.

Thanks for all the comments! I think I wasn't sure if i was betting for value, or bluffing... so it ended up weak.

And always feel free to ri[ up ALL the play. I didn't mean to imply I though it was good pre flop.

88 must be played more agressively preflop, and it's also a easy fold on the flop. but at this stakes, I CALL :)
