Here were two hands back to back that I played tonight. I went over the top and was very aggresive on the first hand. I then get dealt AA. I have not had to show alot of cards since most hands I played so far were not going to showdown 5 of 151 hands w/ 22 won without showdowns. Was it worth it to try and catch someone thinking I'm just bullying after the hand before.

u played them completely wrong the idea of a cash game is to make money so a raise to 0.45 would have been ok. u would get rid of the limpers and tempt a big hand in. then u could play the flop how u want.
He did say the reason for going all in like that was because he had just won the previous hand, and it might imply he was on a rush, and tempt someone to call with a less than premium hand. I would do a similar move like this if i was playing a Tournament and had just suffered a bad beat - if you get a good hand next, an all-in move seems like classic tilt, and is more likely to get a call, negating the need to be cute with your bet amount.

Though I do agree with what you say about this hand.

I can see what you were trying to do, but I don't know how often that would work. The thing is that in the first hand you didn't go all-in until after the flop. If you go all-in pre-flop on one hand, and then immediately go all-in pre-flop the next hand, you're more likely to get a call with the opponents thinking you're just letting the chips fly. But since you actually let it flop the previous time, and this time you push pre-flop, I'd be inclined to think that you actually have a hand and not test my luck.

I think if you raise 4-5X BB and then get a look at the flop, you can make your move from there, and, if the flop calls for it, bet hard again like you did the previous hand, and hope that someone sees this as a parallel bully attempt.

A big move after the flop by risking the rest of your chip stack. I like the move though. With two Kings and two suits on the board, you have to push some players out of this pot. You end up taking the pot. This was a suckout waiting to happen if you didn''t make a move right then and there.

Good raise. It's better to win .65 than lose more on a lucky flop for one of your opponents.

Hand #1. Standard play with your stack. Good hand.

Hand #2. I like it. Perhaps a bet of $1 and then push no matter what flops, but the push preflop is fine too. Good hand.

I like the way you played your nines. You represented the King, and only stood to lose if someone held the King. Nice play.

Although you took the pot down with the Aces, I didn't like your play. I would have made a .35-.45 bet preflop and then bet all in on the flop (especially with a low board). At least you could have taken more down post flop if you played it this way.

That bet is way too small.
If someone calls, then it becomes a mistake for the following players to fold.

as rude as xace was, i partially agree with him.
I think the reraise was a little much and i know exactly what you were trying to do here, but a raise to like 0.60 or so is much better. You'll get no action from a guy raising with KJ-strength hands when you push, but had you raised a smaller amount the raiser would probably call to see a flop. Most do at micros.
Nice hand though, t4e - too bad noone fell for the play :p

the thing is if someone goes allin after a raise in a cash game they have 1 of 2 hands AA KK so unless they r very bad they wont call. at least with a raise ure givin them a chance to call.

Keep in mind this is .02/.05  Most are poor players and i've had many call my all ins with AK, AQ, AJ, AT, KQ, TT down to 22, and many worse...
though again, i agree with you xace100 - raising instead of pushing gives them a chance to call and see a flop, which is what they all want.

Here are the chip stackes of the 3 player who went before me. Smit raised and Ark and Usual1 both called. I am in the SB (out of position with AA, horrible isn't it). My bet is large but still only at most half of their respective stack. I only need one caller to make it a great hand. I still have the BB and the 3 callers. I overbet the pot but it is not like I was the bigstack and it would cost each of these people all their money to make the call. It was $2.30 to call, not $50.

Honestly, the reason I did it all-in is a little ploy I learned here to mix up your game and play hands differently. 2 black AA (black bomber) go all-in, 2 red AA (stop sign) and limp, 2 mixed make the standard raise for position and table play. I finished my session and was looking over how I played and was curious if the previous hand and the reraise would make people think the value of my hand is less than it represented.
